The AAL-Band 2.0 Forearm utilizes a sophisticated blend of Force Myography (FMG) and Inertial Measurement (IMU) for high-accuracy gesture sensing. This allows for real-time streaming of muscle contraction intensity alongside angular velocity and linear acceleration—perfect for movement prediction, limb orientation, and robotics control.

    Arrived on time and works perfectly for my data collection. No issues with the tech at all. My only gripe is the actual look of it—the design is just a bit too simple, almost basic. It looks a bit ‘dull’ given how much it costs and how advanced it is inside. Still, it does the job well

    I’ve used several forearm bands for HMI projects, but the BioX 2.0 is in a league of its own. The gesture control precision is significantly higher than IMU-only solutions. Great support for Python and C++ environments.
