Advancing Research at the BioX Science Innovation Hub
The BioX Science Innovation Hub at Aalborg University (AAU) represents a significant leap forward in our mission to revolutionize human-machine interaction. During the groundbreaking ceremony, we were honored to pitch our vision to the Danish Minister of Science and Education, Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen. As part of the official ceremony, a memorial box from 2020 was placed in the foundations; BioX proudly contributed a component from our very first prototype to this time capsule.
The BioX Science Innovation Hub is more than just an office expansion; it is a dedicated environment for clinical testing and collaborative engineering. Located within the NOVI Science Park ecosystem, this hub allows our researchers to work alongside the best minds in robotics at AAU.
By utilizing the specialized labs at the BioX Science Innovation Hub, we are accelerating the development of our touch-free sensor panels and lightweight wearable exoskeletons. This facility ensures that every BioX product is backed by rigorous scientific data and real-world testing. Our presence at the BioX Science Innovation Hub reinforces our commitment to the Aalborg tech community and the global future of AAL-Band technology.

Since its completion, the Science and Innovation Hub has become a vital environment for helping spinouts and startups grow from Aalborg University. Designed by Cobe Architects and supported by a donation from the A.P. Møller Foundation and Aalborg University, it stands as a landmark for Danish innovation.
